Association for Canadian and Québec Literatures

Association #7
Association for Canadian and Québec Literatures (ACQL)
Conference dates:
Saturday, May 26, 2018 to Monday, May 28, 2018
To attend this conference, register for Congress and add ACQL #7 in Section 3 of the registration form.
Registration is required for all conference attendees, including speakers, presenters, panelists, organizers and those chairing or attending a session.

Featuring English- and French-language plenaries and panels, this year's ACQL conference adapts the theme of Congress 2018, "Gathering Diversities," to the Association's commitment to language as the living archive of culture and politics.

In Regina, home of longstanding Fransaskois, Métis, and anglophone communities, we bring junior and established scholars together to consider the roles that literature plays in expressing Canadians' relations to their many languages here and around the world. Plenary speakers include Zarqa Nawaz, Wendy Roy, Pamela Sing, and Audrée Wilhelmy.
