Judith Peraino of Cornell University is a feminist music scholar, queer theorist, and co-curator of the “Anarchy in the Archives” exhibition drawn from the Cornell Library’s Rare Book and Manuscript Collection. Her talk will investigate the multivalent political meanings that emerge from punk material culture, the symbols that proliferate therein, and the performing bodies that create and bear punk the signs of punk ideologies.
