Canada Prizes

Join us at an elegant reception to celebrate the winners of the 2018 Canada Prizes. The event features an awards ceremony followed by an armchair conversation with the 2018 winners about their remarkable books.

Awarded annually to the best books funded by the Awards to Scholarly Publications Program (ASPP), the Canada Prizes recognize books that make an exceptional contribution to scholarship, are engagingly written, and enrich the social, cultural and intellectual life of Canada.

Refreshments will be provided.

Speakers: Elsbeth Heaman, Professor, Department of History and Classical Studies, McGill University; Alex Gagnon, Postdoctoral Fellow, Department of French Language and Literature at McGill University.
