This presentation will provide some contextual information about residential schools, the work of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) and the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation (NCTR), as well as on reconciliation resources. This will include a ‘tour’ of the NCTR archival database, and participants will see how to search for records, and how records may be used in the classroom.
