Before you begin, please review the Instructions page for Open Event Listings. After you submit this form, make note of the reference # that will be included in your confirmation email. Deadline: March 2, 2018
Host organizations
Select your host category, then identify your organization name or the association(s) hosting this event, including all partners for jointly-hosted sessions. Please note: only scholarly associations that are officially participating in Congress, along with exhibitors, official Congress sponsors, the university and the Federation can be listed as an event ‘host’.

To select multiple associations, hold CTRL and click.
Type in your organization's name EXACTLY as you wish it to appear in publications.
List any additional partners for University or Federation hosted events.

Date and time
If the same event (same content, speakers, etc.) will take place on multiple days, this is considered a recurring event. Please only submit one form, and select the ‘recurring event’ checkbox below.
Spaces for all events on campus must be booked through the Congress Request System. Please determine which of your room requests will be used as the space for this event, and provide the 5-digit ID# of that request. We will use this number to look up the room name allocated for that request. Do not provide building or room numbers here. See FAQ.
Indicate desired location for your event. Please note that use of the Congress Expo Event Space is subject to availability, and the Federation will contact you within 10 business days to confirm these details.
Please select the language(s) that the event is taking place in. Event titles and descriptions will be published in the language in which the event will be presented.
Select all that apply. Please note that translations will be published only for bilingual events and for those organizations with an official bilingual mandate, but only if the translation is provided below. The Federation cannot provide translation services.
Event title
Note: keep your event title short (ideally less than 10 words), clear and informative to catch attendees’ interest. Avoid academic paper titles or the name of your association's conference. See FAQ.
(Optional) List your top three presenters, panelists, chairs or participants that you would like to recognize in the event listing. See FAQ. Please note: Open Events may be pitched to the media as part of the Federation’s media outreach program. The Federation actively engages with media in the weeks preceding Congress to help journalists navigate the extensive programming and facilitate their access to researchers. Presenters listed below may be contacted for media purposes, unless the Federation is advised otherwise.
