Government House

Take a step back in time to the Victorian Era as you explore the Amédée Forget Museum at Government House, the former residence of Saskatchewan’s first Lieutenant Governor. Soak in our province’s proud history in the J.E.N. Wiebe Interpretive Centre, the beautiful work of local artists in the Queen Elizabeth II Art Gallery, and the more than eight acres of Edwardian Gardens that surround the building.

Legislative Building

Known as the marble palace, the Saskatchewan Legislative Building is the largest legislative building in Canada and features 34 different types of marble from around the world. The exterior is elaborately decorated with intricate carvings of lions, gargoyles and chains of grain and fruit. The Legislative Building overlooks beautiful Wascana Lake in Wascana Centre. Tours of the Saskatchewan Legislative Building are available seven days a week.

RCMP Heritage Centre

Discover the Real Stories of the Red Serge. The RCMP Heritage Centre is located where the tradition began, at the RCMP Academy, 'Depot' Division in Regina, Saskatchewan. Depot has trained every RCMP ‘cadet’ since it was established in 1885; it’s no wonder Regina is often referred to as Home of the RCMP. Take a tour of historic Depot and take in the Sergeant Major’s Parade. Tour the Heritage Centre and discover real stories about Mounties in red serge through stimulating galleries and exhibits that are filled with artifacts using static displays, multi-media technologies, virtual reality and augmented reality. All ages are sure to enjoy.

Royal Saskatchewan Museum

Journey through millions of years of Saskatchewan’s geological and natural history. Examine the fossil remains of long-extinct creatures and learn about the animals, insects and plants that live here today. Engage with the province’s First Nations cultures and test your understanding of sustainability and our ecological footprint.  No visit is complete until you meet Megamunch the robotic T. Rex.

Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame

Located in the heart of downtown Regina, the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame was established to honour outstanding Saskatchewan athletes, championship teams and sport builders as well as preserve the history of Saskatchewan sport. Displays include portraits and citations of inductees, sports memorabilia and interactive elements.
